Don't Walk Down Memory Lane In Bare Feet an article written while waiting for the car to be repaired.

An honest man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light just in front of him turned yellow. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof, and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.

The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up.

He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door.

She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him.
"I noticed the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday- School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian Fish emblem on the trunk.

Naturally... I assumed you had stolen the car."

. . Priceless.!

Now of course we know this story didn't really happen but the situation comes up so often. Will we learn from this? I should hope so

Some folks like to use the Bible as a basis for making decisions. If you are one of those folks, here are some Bible guidelines for consideration the next time you are shopping for a car...

It seems that our original ancestors tooled around in an old Plymouth because the Bible says that God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden in a Fury.

Psalm 83 indicates that the Almighty owned at least two cars -- a Pontiac and a Geo. The passage urges the Lord to "pursue your enemies with your Tempest and terrify them with your Storm."

Perhaps Moses favored Dodge pickup trucks, because his followers are instructed not to go up a mountain "until the Ram's horn sounds a long blast."

No doubt Moses used his truck for work, but when he went cruising, he did so in a flashy sportscar, as evidenced by a Bible passage declaring that "the roar of Moses' Triumph is heard in the hills."

Moses' protégé, Joshua, also drove a Triumph -- but Joshua's Triumph had a hole in its muffler because the Bible says, "Joshua's Triumph was heard throughout the land."

Some scholars insist that Jesus drove a Honda but didn't like to talk about it. As proof, they cite a verse in St. John's gospel where Christ tells the crowd, "For I did not speak of my own Accord..."

Following the Master's lead, the Apostles car-pooled in a Honda, for the Bible says, "The Apostles were in one Accord."

Tire totes, tire garages and wheel felts keep your seasonal tires and wheels safely stored away when not in use.

National Bike Registry
Protect your bike for just $1 per year I can't think of a better investment. Bikes are costing more and more what with Carbon Fiber wheels and Titanium Alloy frames a good bike can cost over a thousand dollars so why not register your bike and protect it from being stolen. Experts say it takes just 7 seconds for a thief to steal a locked bicycle and over a billion dollars worth of bicycles are stolen every year. If you want to hang on to YOUR bike then go to National Bike Registry NOW.
