Whose Voice?
John 10:10; The thief comes only to steal and
kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life,
and have it to the full. -NIV
Do you know there are many ways the enemy likes to
break us down? One of them being he will to try to
talk to us and distract our thoughts. This can bring
confusion to our minds. However, we have a recourse,
2 Corinthians 10:5 says “We demolish arguments
and every pretension that sets itself up against the
knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought
to make it obedient to Christ.”
I know that in the midst of a struggle it gets very
difficult to determine if my thoughts are focused
on the voice of truth. I wonder, am I allowing the
enemy to take advantage of my situation, to come in
and steal my joy, kill my hopes, and destroy my destiny.
Whose voice am I going to listen too?
I would encourage you to take a moment the next
time your mind is swarming with thoughts. Bring each
one to the Lord, and ask Him to give you wisdom and
discernment. Allow God to bring peace to your mind
as you listen to the voice of truth and destroy the
voice of the enemy.
