Adventures in the 8th Dimension
Matthew 28:20; and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age." -NIV
While we are talking about the 80’s I remember
another silly quote from way back then. It went “No
matter where you go, there you are.” I still
say it often. (I am willing to confess I can even
tell you the funny but campy “B” grade
movie it came from the title of this is a hint.)
God has given us all something to do in this life.
Some of us think “What can I do? I wake up with
plans, I pray, read, have a cup of something, and
start my day. I work, come home, spend some time with
my family, and eventually go to sleep only to start
it all over again tomorrow. How is that doing Gods
work?” If we are always paying attention to
the fact that no “matter were we go, there we
are” if we live in the moment and realize that
God has given us THIS thing to do, to do well and
do it for his glory. Others watch us even if we think
we are doing our work in a vacuum, we really are not.
Everything we do leaves a trail and everything we
do causes ripples. This trail and these ripples can
and do affect others. The smallest detail is watched
over by God and has a purpose. The proverb “for
want of a nail, the kingdom did fail” is still
very true.
Good honest men who do good honest work all contribute
to Gods Plan So when you feel like you have nothing
to contribute just remember “no matter where
you go. . . God is there!”
