Daily Decision for Christ
Galatians 3:3: Are you so foolish?
After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying
to attain your goal by human effort? -NIV
Once upon a time, I made a decision to make Jesus
Savior, and Lord. I look back occasionally and ask
myself "What has happened since?" I wonder
"Have I walked consistently with Him as I wished
to? Or, like so many of us, have I become distracted
by the cares of this life?" Today I ask you;
Do you anticipate meeting with Jesus each day? Or
do you simply anticipate getting through the day?
We believe that "with God all things are possible,"
and that "God shall supply all your needs…"
So can we place the faith in Him that we did when
we first came to Him? Can we believe that "His
grace is sufficient," and that all the cares
of our lives today do not need to be cause to worry?
Once upon a time, I looked to Jesus, trusting Him
with my eternity. Shall I therefore do any less than
to trust Him with each day? Do we need to make a decision
for Him again? The theological implications not withstanding
I still feel that we need to come to Him and say,
"I will follow you, Lord?" daily.
