In our dogs obedience
class we learned that a dog wants to please his
master. I find that hard to believe with our dog
Smokey, but that is what we were all told. I would
like to believe that all dogs want to please there
masters.

Now suppose that
were true in the spiritual realms, That Christians
and Non-Christians try to please their masters.
Non-Christians would be blythly trying to please
thier masters - drugs, power, sex, or whatever vice
afflicts them (ultimately Satan and his demons).
Christians would then be trying to please our master,
Jesus. There's only one problem. We, like a dog
brought home from the shelter, don't know our new
master. Maybe we even jump the fence and run away.
Eventually with enough love and affection from their
new master, a dog from an animal shelter will learn
what his new master wants, and will begin to love
and trust him.
